We’ll kick off the session learning how to draw fragrant herbs and wildflowers – using fine liners and brush pens to find the forms and mindful drawing techniques to help you loosen up and learn about mark-making with different tools.

This will be followed by a gentle introduction to working with artist quality watercolours – creating glazes from these high pigment paints and playing with wet on wet watercolours to create blooming studies of beautiful seasonal flowers.

Expect a fun, mindful and technique-packed afternoon learning how to work with a range of watercolour techniques and fine-tuning your brush skills under the gentle guidance of SAS founder Ellie Green.

All materials and light refreshments are included in this fun, experimental workshop suitable for absolute beginners!
