Learn to knit:
In this calm and mindful introduction to knitting for well-being, you’ll learn how to create a beautiful merino wool blanket, step by step, square by square…
Each session will focus on key knitting skills and as you work your way through the squares of your blanket you’ll also learn new stitches, how to work with different needles and cover all finishing techniques needed to bring your project together.
Knit yourself calm with us…
How it works:
The course will run bi-weekly so you have the chance to work on your knits in between taught sessions. In total you’ll learn 6 different stitches learning to create different patterns for each and create at least 6 squares (there is space between sessions to create more if you like!) which you’ll learn how to bring together into one beautiful merino wool blanket.
What we provide:
We’ll provide a starter kit to get you going with knitting needles for the first session and a new ball of wool for each of the 6 sessions. We’ll be working with a beautiful merino wool rather than acrylic, so you’ll get an understanding of what real wool can do! You’ll need to commit to all six course dates in order to get the most out of this gorgeous course.
