Winter Candle Making Workshop

Add a bit of hygge to your winter home with these gorgeous scented candles in lovely little vintage tea-cups!

Candle-making is a delightfully slow process with each step of the creation encouraging you to be patient and present. We’ll work with soy candle wax - it has a much slower burn time and is non-toxic.

Engage the senses by picking out scent combinations that suit your mood - using a combination of pre-made scents and essential oils to add a personal touch to your creations.

We have a lovely selection of vintage crockery for you to choose from and will have a bit of fun creating some hand-made Christmas labels whilst your creation sets!

As is tradition now at Surrey Art School, we’ll be running a foraged wreath workshop in the lead up to Christmas.

You’ll work with natural hand-made bases to build up a beautiful winter garland to adorn your door or winter home.

We’ve been out and busy collecting pheasant feathers, larch and drying fruit in preparation for this gorgeous seasonal workshop.

You are welcome to bring along some found materials to add to your garland, or to simply work with the gather we have.

Come and capture the beauty of the season in this yule inspired meet and make.
