Let us take you on a well-being journey using the Mandala as a focal point for both yogic and creative practice. The summer season is wild and flighty and this day of well-being and creativity will bring you back to your centre.
Mandalas are everywhere in nature and have been used as a form of meditation both in the making of them and using them as a focal point for meditation itself. The Mandala is also core to Yogic practice and your yoga class will use the circle as inspiration for flowing dynamic moves that echo the calm and grounding force of the circle.
In this full day retreat you'll take part in two workshops - a Mandala inspired Yoga class and a Mandala inspired Art class where you will learn how to design and draw out a personal Mandala. Both sessions are suitable for absolute beginners and will help you switch off from the busy modern world for some much needed 'you time'.
A delicious vegetarian lunch will be provided onsite in the gorgeous outdoor kitchen at Surrey Hills Yurts.
You'll also be offered a FREE 40 minute reflexology session where you will learn how to centre and ground yourself using simple pressure points.
