We’ve designed a 6 week course with absolute beginners in mind that takes you gently through the core concepts of drawing, teaching you the tricks that make putting marks to paper easy!
There are 5 key concepts that will help you to draw with accuracy.
Over this 6 week comprehensive course you’ll gain a full understanding of:
Edges - All lines
Spaces - The space between those lines
Relationships - One shape in relation to another or proportion
Light and Shadow - Understanding tonal scales
Gestalt - Your own style

Break up the week with our Sketchbook art class, suitable for absolute beginners to any level. A chance to meet and make regularly and get back into your creative flow. Make art, drink tea, talk art, talk life, meet others and make in our cosy studio. Each week we will work on a different aspect of art practice and fill our sketchbooks with creative experiments.
Due to the popularity of these classes we are now asking that students book a TERM PASS for each cycle.
A Term pass gives you 6 sessions for the price of 5 and must be used consecutively. Term passes are valid for one term.
