We need Art as much as we need good works. You need it like food. You need it for inspiration, to keep you going on the days that you are low. We need eachother in that way - Meryl Streep
This season we’re teaming up with The Salt Box for a series of Art and Food events invite you to dine out, connect to nature, nourish your soul and re-wild your inner child in their magical woodland site at the Priory Farm Estate. Soulful, belly full, artful events for all.

THE SALT BOX | PRIORY FARM ESTATE | SOUTH NUTFIELD, SURREY
We’re combining art and food for a morning beneath the trees at the beautiful Priory Farm. Ellie from Surrey Art School will be running a woodland mono-printing workshop using leaves gathered in the forest. This will be followed by a seasonal feast cooked up by The Salt Box inspired by seasonal, local ingredients.
This season we are delighted to be joining forces with The Salt Box for a series of youth and family workshops where the beautiful woodland at the Priory Farm Estate will inspire some wild creative adventures! Let the world become our classroom and let nature provide the tools as we re-wild our inner child this summer.
Our summer youth and family workshops with The Salt Box are now LIVE- we’ll be in the woods on Tuesday 30th July, Tuesday 6th August and Tuesday 20th August for a series Art and Food collaborations. Check your kids in for a morning in the woods or come together for a family workshop in the afternoon.
MEET THE SALT BOX
A recipe has no SOUL, as a cook you must bring SOUL to the recipe…
The friendliest neighbours…
…we could ever ask for, the award winning Salt Box offer absolutely magical outdoor dining experiences in and around Surrey as well as offering a range of events, courses and workshops from their new HQ at the Priory Farm Estate. They are as passionate about cooking outdoors as they are in using only local, seasonal and sustainable produce on all their menus.
These pioneers have a vision that they are gently bringing to life - a woodland cookery school where we can all learn to cook as we used to - over the fire, with love and care all whilst breathing in the fresh Surrey air!
Not all schools have four walls..
They say: We don’t want to be confined by four walls. We want to move within the seasons, the elements, surrounded by the outdoors and crackling fires. We believe this is what stops us from ever becoming bored as cooks and keeps us driving forward with new ideas, using what are essentially ancient cooking techniques.
What you say…
We’ve had some fantastic feedback on our collaborations so far - have a look at what others think of our Art and Food inspired events!
