So what's on the menu for this fun Sunday workshop?
We'll kick off the morning making sellotape textile strips to start to investigate how to integrate colour, pattern and texture into your work and help you develop your own textile based sketchbook and ideas.
Then using printing, stitch and combination textile techniques you will learn mono-printing, chennelling, collage and simple table weaving to begin to incorporate textile elements into your own practice.
In this fun mixed media session you will use principles of mono-printing and stencil making to print on to fabric before using the fabric that you have printed to begin to experiment with construction and layering techniques.
Expect a fun-filled morning with lots of opportunities to PLAY with print and textiles techniques and to make new discoveries about ways of working with textiles!
All materials are included in your session as are plenty of creative feedback, banter, tea and biscuits. Lighten up a Sunday morning and come and play in the studio. Full booking terms and conditions are here.
