Working with a mixture of inks and vibrant watercolours we’ll use beginner-kind wet on wet watercolour techniques to find the shapes of fluffy bumblebees.  With a few further flicks of the brush and some delightfully translucent wings – your bees will be ready to fly

Wildflower Botanical Painting & Seasonal Lunch

Friday 12th July 2024 | 10:30 to 13:30 | The Salt Box | RH1 4EU

See you in the meadow this summer, when the fields are in full bloom, for a beautiful botanically-inspired workshop suitable for beginners. Ellie will share some gentle & soothing techniques for painting seasonal herbs and native wildflowers in vibrant watercolours. You’ll learn how to use a range of brushes to capture wild stems, leaves and blooms.

Once you’ve learned some of the core techniques, Ellie will invite you to ‘make a meadow’ of your own – choosing your favourite flowers from the ‘creative buffet’ on offer. All materials, freshly brewed tea and coffee and a delicious light lunch are included in this seasonal workshop.

Nature Printing Workshop with Wild Tea & Cake

Friday 13th September 2024 | 10:30 to 13:00 | The Salt Box | RH1 4EU

Join Ellie and create beautiful hand-made botanical mono-prints using the surrounding woodland as inspiration. You’ll be working with vegetable oil based inks that are totally non-toxic and capture the stunning detail of the textures of nature with stunning photographic results – no matter your skill level.

By the end of the workshop you’ll come away with multiple prints from leaves, feathers and whatever else you can find in the forest - giving you the chance to take a little bit of the beautiful woodland home with you on the day.

All materials, freshly brewed tea and coffee and a wildly inspired sweet treat are included in this seasonal workshop.
